Hello and congratulations on your engagement! I'm so pleased you've found us and if you're here, you're probably keen to learn a bit more about me and my fantastic team of creative wedding planners. When I planned my own wedding (ten years ago now *gulp*) wedding planners were a luxury reserved for the rich and famous, however I know I wasn't the kind of bride to 'go with it' on my wedding day, being a serial organiser, and I found running the show myself pretty stressful; which is exactly why I love taking that pressure off the brides and grooms I work with now. With a background in theatre and creative arts production, I started event and wedding planning back in 2017 and since have grown Foil into the go-to events team for expert day-of management, stress-free partial planning support and unique wedding design.
I like to think me and my team of planners can fix pretty much any wedding conundrum, from huge empty warehouses to storm-battered marquees; the more we can transform and deliver a knock-out event, the better!
The thing I love most about this job is the bond I get to build with my clients, getting to know them as individuals and bringing to life their wedding vision is the biggest honour; I want you to think of me as the extra best mate you didn't know you needed in the run up to and on your wedding day, keeping things looking perfect, running like clockwork and, of course, totally relaxed.

Hey, I'm Tahnee, an Aussie expat living in London! My weekends (outside busy wedding season) evolves around my favourite pubs with my hubby and our rescue doggo Koda.
After working in corporate and charity events for over 9 years, I launched my own wedding business in 2020 and since have designed, styled and coordinated multiple weddings at some iconic London venues; my heart lies with inner-city and pub weddings where I can really transform the spaces I'm working in!
I love offering not only my expertise but also good advice and a stress free, open and honest approach. I actually get kind of sad when a wedding is over and I don’t get to spend time with my couples.
My top wedding planning tip would be to stay you! Remember this is your day and it should feel authentically you. Right at the start of your wedding planning, grab a cup of tea or a glass of vino and note down the three most important things to you both and stick to that throughout your planning journey.

I messaged Kate to see if we could have a chat and see if an on-the-day-coordinator was what I could have been missing. From that very first call I felt relieved I'd found someone who would be my partner in planning, and take the reins a week out so I could enjoy the wedding. Aimee was fantastic and seamless picked it up on the day.. even if she did have to shout me not to fetch the ash trays myself as bride! Thank you so much the whole Foil Events team, anyone looking to do any DIY based wedding should get you guys involved!

I started out in events by running my own LGBTQ+ friendly wedding company, before later adding on my successful corporate online events business. You'll often find me running the show at FOIL’s rural and marquee events in the summer; I’m a logistics-whiz and spent 15 years working in Forensics for the Met Police, so if you know your event needs an expert eye for detail, I'd like to think I'm your girl.
People talk about 3 things after a wedding: the outfits, the speeches and the food - Good, bad or ugly!
In my experience, happy guests are those where the food is good and plentiful. Select food that suits your personalities and your feel of your day, but make sure it is the best you can afford in your budget. Making sure everyone’s dietary requirements are sorted can be a headache, but we’ll always take care of that for you! Cheers to full tummies and happy faces...

Hi, I’m Aimee - coordinating wiz, all round wedding cheerleader and the newest member of team Foil! However, that doesn’t mean I’m new to weddings, I’ve been a wedding coordinator and event stylist since 2016 and have lost count of the amount of weddings I’ve helped plan and run. When I'm not busy running events I love a good board game (self-confessed geek and proud!) and I'm also on first-name terms with my local Wagamama's which never gets old!
Being based in the midlands, my weddings tend to take place in back garden marquees or dry hire barns, with discerning clients who want their vision brought to life. This means I have tons of experience pulling together all the moving parts that make up your day, and plenty of years under my belt problem solving on the go to ensure your weddings all run as smoothly as possible.
My motto is Your Day, Your Way and I’m on hand to make sure that happens. I absolutely love what I do and consider it a real honour to get to be a part of your wedding.
